Als Antwort auf Dragon. Nein, es wird wohl auch keine Lösung kommen. Hast du mehrere HomeHubs (HomePods, AppleTVs)? Oder nur einen?

Bei mir ist das Problem erst seit dem iOS 18 Update. Vorher hatte es immer funktioniert. Ausschalten funktioniert auch immer ohne Probleme. Ich wüsste nicht das ich seit iOS 18 ein Firmwareupdate des LGs gemacht habe. Gibt es mittlerweile eine Lösung? Es ist mittlerweile iOS 18.1 auf dem HomePod und es geht immer nocht nicht.

Hi Spack,

I don’t have the problems you described in my setup. However, some additional details would be great. First: Is one of your HomeHubs (HomePod mini) connected in the Home App? Second: Try to reboot all of your HomeHubs (HomePod mini, AppleTV).

But first, you need to check if you HomeHub is connected. In the Home App under Settings, Home Hub and Bridges.

Yesterday evening I updated my iPhone + iPad to 18.1. And also updated my HomePods mini …

Anyway since then :
HomeKit has stopped working – it does not recognize any of my HomePods mini any longer and so cannot connect to any of my additional hubs such as Aquara and Hue.

Aquara devices and cameras can be used autonomously via the Aquara Hub.

Can you please send an answer to whether this is yet another big mistake with the Apple HomeKit and when a fix can be expected ?

One can simply not rely on what Apple is providing with HomeKit, seems I am riding an almost dead horse here ….

Ich stimme voll und ganz zu. Ich verstehe auch nicht, warum Apple in diesem Feld und elendig langsam unterwegs ist.
Einerseits kündigen sie Features mit UWB Technologie an und unterstützen diese obwohl es noch kein einziges Produkt dazu gibt und andererseits verpassen sie es, aufzuschließen und Matter 1.2 komplett einzubinden. Man kann nur hoffen, dass Apple dies in iOS 18.x nachliefert.
